The Hunger Games 30 Day Challenge Part 3

Hey guys! Everspark here! So I'm doing Week 3 of the Hunger Games Challenge. If you're a new comer to my blog, check out part 1 here and part 2 here. Oh and by the way, these posts may contain spoilers... ENJOY!

WEEK 3

Day 15: Your least favourite tribute.
Most definitely without a single doubt Cato, or Clove. Probably leaning more towards Cato 'cos he's the leader of the careers and almost killed Peeta and Katniss... But it's a hard one... They're just so EVIL!

Day 16: A question you wish had been answered.
What happens to the Capitol children who are chosen in the 76th Hunger Games? I was actually really surprised when, in the books, at the very end, the tributes rules in favour of holding a final 76th hunger games in which the Capitol children would participate. It seemed to me as though everything that they had ever fought for was all for nothing. As though the history of Panem will continue to repeat itself... Woah... I have thought about this too much... If you have an answer for me then go ahead and write it in the comments, as I'd absolutely LOVE to hear it!

Day 17: The worst death.
Glimmer. Glimmer died in the most brutal horrible way, and seemed far from painless and quick. Quick reminder, Glimmer was stung over and over by the Capitols mutations "tracker jackers", wasps, whose stings are fatal. But then again... I guess she deserved it, didn't she?

Day 18: A song that reminds you of the series.
Does it count if it's a song from the movie? If so, then it's "Hanging Tree" by Jenifer Lawrence. She's so damn good at singing! And acting! She's my celeb idol.

If not then it's "Girl on fire" by Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj. No explanation needed...

Day 19: Your favourite pairing.
Erm... Everlark... DUH?! They are just so PERFECT together!!!
A classic Everlark moment...

Day 20: Your least favourite pairing.
Everthorne... definitely everthorne. It's never gonna happen Gale... MOVE ON!!!

Day 21: A pairing you don't get.
Okay so recently I've discovered that Glato and Clato are "a thing" now. People are making fanfictions about them and fan art etc. Basically it's Glimmer and Cato or Clove and Cato, and there is an actual internet "war" going on with both sides claiming that their ship is better. I really don't understand this... Aren't the careers... the enemy. Aren't they hella evil? If you're a Glato or Clato shipper, please comment below and EXPLAIN!!!

So this is the end... Only one more Hunger games challenge post left... *Blows nose*. Anyways, hope you enjoyed it. As always, I'll leave the actual challenge below if you wanna do it too. Oh, and if you want, comment your answers, I'd love to hear from ya!

Till next time.
Luv ya
And may the odds be EVER in your favour

Positive Vibes

Hi guys. This is gonna be a deep post. I know my posts are usually fun and stuff, but I just thought, "hey, why not try something new". So here I am.

So recently, I had this phase where I hated everything about myself. My personality, my looks, and felt really insecure about myself. At some point or another we will all go through a phase where we feel insecure about something or the other about ourselves. So here are a few tips about how to get over that phase. Before you start, get yourself a pen and notepad. This post is all about lists and inspiration. Enjoy.

1. Look at yourself in the mirror.

Just do it. No, really, do it. Right now. Look at yourself. THIS IS YOU. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Look at yourself and point out the things that you love about yourself. It could be your high cheek bones, your slim figure, your beautiful full lips. Make a list of things you love about yourself. Don't just stop after 3 things. Write at least 10 things. Force yourself to write them down on a sheet of paper. Fold it up and hide it in a place that only you would think to look. Read it when you feel this way in the future. Continue adding to the list. Actually believe that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and soon, other people will start realizing it too.

2. Treat everyday as though it's your best.

I know this is really cheesy and all, but seriously, do it. Don't start that fight with your annoying little brother. Be grateful for the little things. Enjoy the little things. Be nice to everyone you meet. Surround yourself with the people and the things that make you happy. Life's too short to waste wallowing in negativity. Try your best to stay happy, don't let people put you down. We all have bad days, some worse than other. But we have to find the good hidden within the bad. When you have a bad day, force yourself to write at least 5 good things that happened. Don't focus on the bad things in life.

3. Love you for YOU

You are you. You can't change that. Accept it and move on. Your best friends, love you because you're you. Your family, loves you for you. Love yourself and don't EVER try to change yourself, for anyone or anything. Be happy with who you are, and don't try and change. YOU ARE YOU, and you are perfect. Just the way you are. Okay, all cheesy-ness aside, this is the most important one. If you can't love yourself, then how can you expect anyone else to love you? Like you did with your appearance, create a list on things that you love about you. The things that make you, well... you. Your interests, your obsessions, your fears. Hide this list as well, and look at it when you feel down or feel horrible about yourself. Just do it.

4. NEVER EVER EVER GIVE UP... ever.

So you failed a test. Pick yourself up, get on your feet and come back stronger. Fight back harder. Practice on what you failed on last time. Learn from it. Get better, Improve. Now, recently I tried to get my brown belt (I do karate). I failed. I cried for hours. I had tried my very hardest and failed because of ONE THING. I was so disappointed in myself. The whole fitness testing was awful and hard and horrible. I think I nearly passed out. But I just kept thinking that I wasn't good enough. I really didn't want to go through the same test again, let alone spend 3-4 months learning things that I already knew off by heart. People tried to cheer me up, but it just made me feel worse. Now, I have this inspiration wall, in my bedroom. And I looked at it and I read this one quote.

And it made me get up. It made me stop feeling sorry for myself. Was crying going to change anything? No. I got back up. I ignored the fact that my friends had moved up and become brown belts. I accepted that fact that I was still a blue belt, and moved on. Because feeling sorry for yourself gets you nowhere. Wallowing in your own misery, doesn't make the situation any different. It's not the end of the world if you fail. Really, it's not like it's a life or death situation. There's always a next time. So hopefully, next time I get my brown belt. Maybe I won't. But I will never find out if I don't try again

My advice to you: When you're feeling down... Inspire your self. Make your own inspiration wall. Fill it with inspiring pictures and quotes or just print out some quotes that will cheer you up if you ever feel this way again. Here are some to get you started:

5. Life's too short to wait around.

Why should I do any of this? You honestly don't have to. But remember, you can't expect a situation to get better without doing anything about it. And there's no point in waiting for the issue to go away or resolve itself. Go for what you want, try your best in everything. The whole point of this post is to help you, to INSPIRE YOU.

Thanks for reading this. I hope that you have benefited, in some shape or form, from this post. I hope that it has inspired you and helped you out. Please comment if this has helped you in anyway. And why not follow me on blog lovin'? It would make my day!

30 Day Hunger Games Challenge Part 2

Whoop whoop! Hi guys, it's Everspark. This is week 2 of the 30 Day Hunger Games Challenge. If this is the first time you've seen my blog and you have no idea what on earth this is, check out part 1 of the Hunger Games Challenge. Also, if you haven't noticed 'em already, I've put up some polls, so please vote for your fave couple, or someone you could keep alive in the books. Oh, and by the way, these posts may contain spoilers... Anyways... Enjoy.

WEEK 2

Day 8: The character that you are most like

I wish it was Katniss... but it's not. I do love nature and climbing trees and stuff, but I could NEVER kill an animal. I'm hopeless with a bow and arrow, I can't shoot straight, let alone at a moving target. I'm not all that brave either. I think I'm most like Peeta, I hope that I'm sweet, I'm kinda shy, I like sharing. Sharing is Caring. Um... I love baking, probably not as much as Peeta does though... I think I'm sorta a mix of Peeta and Katniss. I would really love to know who you think you're most like, so comment who you think that you are most like.

Day 9: Your favourite quote

"Stay with me...

...Always"

I love that quote. It's like the first part of the book where Everlark actually become... a thing. It's so romantic and... AWWWWW.
I also love the quote:
"You love me. Real or not real?
...Real."

Day 10: Peeta or Gale?

Is that even a question? PEETA. I've probably mentioned this before, but Gale is just too stone cold and horrible. He's mean and inconsiderate. He killed so many innocent workers in District 2. But Peeta... He's just so dreamy, and sweet and selfless and kind and... And I just LOVE HIM... next question!

Day 11: Something you hate about the series

*SPOLIER'S* I absolutely hate the fact that at the end of the series, it was all for nothing. The rebellion, all those deaths. For nothing. Because, it's a cycle. The Capitol children will have to participate in the Hunger Games. I just HATE that. It's so horrible and Ugh... Anyways...

Day 12: A character you wish hadn't died

*SPOILERS* PRIM. PRIM. PRIM. or FINNICK. I love them both. Prim was just too young. And Finnick... He deserves to see his son. He's been through so much... And they both had such brutal deaths... Awww. I wish I could save them both. I just love them... Could you excuse me please? *Blows nose*. Okay... On with the post!

Day 13: A character you wish had died

Oh... now that's a tough one... I'm gonna say one of the peacekeepers. Probably Cray or Thread. Cray, cos he's just evil for what he does to those poor young girls. It's horrible, he basically pays young poor women to sleep with him. And Thread... he's just evil. It doesn't really say if they died or not.

Day 14: Your favourite tribute(aside from Peeta/Katniss)

Definitely Johanna Mason. She's just so sassy and cool. She's amazing at wrestling and throwing axes and stuff. She's just so bold and brave, and it's really sad that she has no more of her family or friends. Either Johanna or Finnick.

Well, this is the end of the post. I really hope you enjoyed it. I've got some polls on my blog, so check 'em out, kay? Oh, and below is the actual challenge, so why not do it with me? Comment below and tell me what you'd say in response to these questions. See ya next week guys!

30 Day Hunger Games Challenge Part 1

Hi guys! I've decided to do a 30 the hunger games challenge on here and honestly I'm Sooooo excited!
At the bottom of this post I'll attach the actual challenge, so you guys can do it with me if you want! I'm not going to post each day everyday, instead I'm going to post 7 days of the challenge every week. Oh, and these posts may contain spoilers if you haven't read the book. So... Here's my first post for my writing challenge!

Day 1: Favourite character.

I just can't choose! I love Peeta, so I guess he's my favourite. I love him 'cos he's just too darn cute! He's sweet and kind and loving and caring and romantic and sooo haute and... Fictional... *Sigh*. If only all guys could be like him.
But I like soooo many more characters. Next is Katniss... Obviously! She's just so gutsy and bold and I LOVE IT. I think next, would be Haymitch. He's just so drunk! No more needed to be said.
Next it would be Finnick Odair, Johanna Mason, Prim, Rue and Cinna.

Day 2 : Least favorite character
Oh God...

I absolutely HATE president Snow's guts! He kills so many innocent people; 23 kids each year in the arena, kills all those innocent sick and dying people in the hospital in district 8 after the bombings, MAJOR SPOILER ALERT: and he kills Finnick! He tortured my cute little peeta and hijacked him to kill Katniss. I mean... WHO DOES THAT?

I don't know why everyone hates Coin. She hasn't done anything wrong... Has she? Comment if you know why you hate her or why you think she's evil.

Next are ALL of the peacekeepers. Ugh. Some may argue that they're just men taking orders, but they shouldn't be killing people or publicly torturing people.

Day 3: A character you hate that everyone loves

Gale. I'm so sorry all you Everthorne supporters but I dislike him. Hate is too strong a word. SPOILERS: He is the reason that Prim dies. HE KILLED PRIM! He knew she was going to be down there in the, yet he still took that risk. And lots of other innocent people in district 2 and the capitol. He's a ruthless, brutal killer. He just wants to take the Capitol down so bad that he'll do anything just to see it burn itself to the ground. He's not kind or caring and that's why I don't like him.

Day 4 : A character you love that everyone hates

Who does everyone hate? I'm gonna say Peeta, because some people hate him and think that he's useless. Well he's not. Firstly Katniss wouldn't even be alive if it wasn't for Peeta. Nor would her family. It's because of Peeta that her family are alive. Peeta gave Katniss the bread, and she said herself that she would have sold her body to Peace keeper Cray for food or money. It's because of the bread, that Katniss realised she could hunt food for her family. So Peeta saved Katniss. And he saved Katniss' life when Cato was going to kill her. He is NOT useless.

Day 5 : Best battle/fight

There isn't really one, in my opinion. I think that the fight in District 11 just after Rue dies, when people begin to rebel against the Capitol, that's probably my favourite fight. Just seeing all those people standing up for Rue made my heart warm. I equally like the scene where, in the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss goes to get that backpacks with the ointment to save Peeta. Instead of killing Katniss, he gives her mercy, and saves Katniss from Clove. I guess there's not really a best battle or fight.

Day 6 : A scene that made you laugh

Okay, so I loved all of the scenes when Haymitch made fun of Effie's hair or is too drunk, which is quite a lot of scenes. They crack me up every time. If I had to be all specific and stuff, I would probably say the funniest scene would be when Katniss and Peeta first meet Haymitch on the train to the 74th Hunger Games and Katniss almost stabs his hand with a butter knife. I love that scene so much, I basically know all of Haymitch's lines by heart.

Day 7 : A scene that made you cry

I cry every time I watch the scene where Rue dies. It just gets me every time. She's just too young and innocent. And then when Katniss sings to her and collects the flowers. I think that in the book and the movie we get so close to her and we feel as though we know her. I think that that scene is the most emotional in the whole series.

Anyway, thanks for reading this. I hope you liked it. Here is the 30 day challenge I'm doing, so hey, why not do it with me? You can comment or contact me and tell me what you would choose. I'm hoping to post at least once a week now, but I can't promise anything. I just put up some polls, so hey, why not check 'em out? Vote for your favourite ship and we'll see who is the most popular.

That's all folks
Everspark over and out.
And may the odds be EVER in your favour.

I would love for you guys to do this challenge with me!
